Description
I made this concept for THUNDER Throne Wars, our fantasy game development project. This scene represents the Lighte (Kin) side of the game, where the Prince of Thunder resides in his castle.
My task was to create a scene with high mountains and cliffs in the background; a castle on a high rock; river/lake, waterfalls, forest with prehistoric trees in the middle gound and lush vegetation with alien plants in the foregound. That's how this scene was born :)

It appears that you rose to the challenge and then some! The compostion is excellent with the lush allien flora in the foreground and then you have the focus on the distant castle through a window in the woods. The landscape is at once believable and sureal, it is primeveal.

A great scene for sure ! The left alien palts fore ground makes it weird, but I suppose this was the goal !
