Description

Skye and Anko are investigating the reports that a large ant has arrived in Fae Valley so they are on the scene, checking it out. As you can see, it is very large indeed! Still loading content into DAZ as well as installing Bryce 5.5, and of course, trying it out. working with light and shadows as well as reflections. In this, I used Deep Shadow mapping, however, I set the shadow softness to about 25% and Shadow Bias to 3.25%. I like the results, it's more like the light you'd find in a forest, more diffused and soft,giving soft, blurred outlines rather. and of course, I had to play with the texture of Anton's ant and make it shiny. Added some stuff from Lisa's Botanicals to the forest Thank you all for the wonderful comments and faves. This has been a lot of fun. I hope that everyone has a great Wednesday! Mike

Yes, the deep shadow maps can give some wonderfully fuzzy shadows! Some people prefer the other sort of shadows, always, but I think it depends on the scene. It fits here really well!
