Description
"Every Who down in Who-Ville likes Christmas a lot... But the Grinch, who lived just north of Who-ville, did NOT!
Though not always this way it is so, gone past twenty years this Christmas you know.
The Whos had once welcomed him down from his cave, to carve the roast beast for the Christmas he'd saved.
But the Grinch soon went back to his hermity days, when the Whos were put off by his Grinch grinchy ways.
'Til at last he'd resolved in his mind thru and thru, to keep Christmas from coming again to the Whos.
So he slinked and he slunked into town like a skunk, determined to darken this Christmas cheer bunk.
When he came to a house he had visited last, of a small Who family with a much storied past.
Twas the new home of Cindy Lou Who it was true, who has filled out rather nicely for a girl of twenty two,
and the Grinch meant to do vile things 'fore the night was thru.
But when all hope seemed lost on this cold winter night, came a large Christmas elf that was ready to fight!
For jolly old Santa had heard of this Grinch, and meant to teach him a lesson and toss him into a ditch.
The elf had been hitting the gym it was true, and was stout as an ox, solid thru and thru.
And he yanked up that Grinch by the neck as he said, 'Merry Christmas to all, but not you, Grinch... you're DEAD!'
And he pummeled the green creep right on down to the floor, and he kicked the Grinch crying and sobbing out the door.
Then Santa replaced presents and candy and cash, and returned Cindy Lou's missing can of Who hash.
As he flew back up to the roof through the chimney, he called 'Merry Christmas to all... and Dr. Seuss, please forgive me!'"
This is an image I submitted for a Christmas contest at DSA, and I thought you all might like it, too. I had always wondered if Santa knew about this Grinch character, and why the jolly old elf didn't come down and clean his clock.
The Grinch is M4 with a lot of tweaking on the creature creator morphs, and the only Santa suit I had was for the Freak 3, so, it seemed like a good fit to me.
As for the poem... well, the last line says it all! Happy belated holidays everybody!
What do you think? I'd be interested to hear your comments on this one.
