tried to create northern lights with the volumetric plugin and the help from woz - thanks Warren!

Cool result. Glad you took the time to have a look at it. What you need to do here is lift the atmos up by altering the lower & higher altitude so that the lights arent within the terrain as well. If you need a larger light area...then simply increase the Largest Feature Size. The terrain ...if planned to be snow needs some work IMHO. How long did it take to render on what setup hardware & render settings?! Keep playing...you`ll be surprised what you can achieve :)
