Description
Finally got round to finishing the texture set for this character. Did the eyes last.
Also I am uploading the Peacock chair that I modelled to make this pic to the free section as soon as I find a decent host.
I will leave a link to the download in this description somewhere.
Lemmie know what you think of this image.
I am gonna upload a different but similar image (just as soon as its finished)

I love the texture set. It's completely unique. Definitely going to be one I buy.

This is really amazing! Excellent looking skin texture. We'll be seeing a lot of this one, I can tell. Nice job.

I love the way the light reflects off the metallic areas!

Impressive work on the texture, though from an aesthetic point of view I think I'd prefer to see something more subtle. Usually the more technology develops the more invisible it becomes, and blended into more everyday forms.

I think you watch too much Sarah Connor Chronicles. The texture is well done. On her feet too. I like that little detail there. The lighting is a bit too bright tho. Maybe adding some structure to the blends that form her iris... Sth. like visible overlapping. The tin layer on her skin is pretty but appears stretched at some spots like feet or thigh backside. It's best done at her arm, chest and cervical areas. Guess you started there... Where the dress covers the tin it looks like lighting casts the pattern on her dress. Especially thigh and shoulder area. That bright orange spot on her hair... Seriously? Dunno, it's 0200h here. Oh well. Just one more thing maybe. The books cover, i would do 2 different pics.

Beautiful!

I like the image and the idea of the textures, but I would scale them a bit down and would add a glow map and reduce the reflection maybe a bit. The eyes look a bit dull, you should try it with a realistic looking cornea and an artificial Iris behind.

pretty character... eyes? you need red eye reduction = lol... I like this scene and it reminds me of a great artist at Renderosity's style.... however, she looks "Stiff".... she doesn't look natural at all.... would love to encourage you to take this file, upload it into poser and make this character as loose, and wasted as you can - I think a good exercise on "Relaxed fit" would do your images wonders.... really think about every joint = AND FACIAL expression... eyes half opened.... I challenge you to make her look totally drunk and on the verge of passing out... would look great in your gallery too.
