I know very well the situation of Haiti ... Poverty, unemployment, lack of arable land, farm outrageous low reserves, banditry not write worse ... wealthy people live there permanently with bodyguards .. . prevarication and such that even the public buildings have collapsed. I have not seen any "Tap Tap" on the documents filmed at Fort Prince! All semeble actually destroyed! EXCELLENT and BEAUTIFUL dedication !!!

Awesome tribute Richard. The screams for help from those you cannot save must be torture to these people. I spent much of my childhood in nearby Jamaica and cannot stand to hear of their suffering.

I witnessed a deadlier earthquake than this one (7.4 on Richter scale) back in March '77... I was living at 5th floor in a 13 stories building... Great shot and tribute!

It looks to be very bad down there; poor infrastructure to begin with, no building codes, etc.

Beautiful image, and a very touching dedication. Nature at its worse. It reminds us how delicate our lives are on this, otherwise, beautiful planet. Excellent work, Richard!!!!!

A lovely, sweet dedi--and for those inclined, Doctors Without Borders can take online donations--they have a large presence in Haiti and do good work.

Sure it is hell on earth there...and in so many horrible instances like this around the world. Very lovely dedi Richard. I love the splash of red contrast in amongst the wide spread of blues...
