Hah, the do seem like buddies! It looks like they are thinking, "How do we get at the water?" Thanks for your interest in my photography and for your comments. Regarding IR photos, you may have read in my comments that I use a modified camera. Mine was done by another member here but they also do them commercially. Here is one of them: www.maxmax.com Your D90 would need to be modified if you want to use it for IR without needing long exposures. In place of modifying, the cheapest method is to get a Hoya R72 (R25 & R29 works too, though they let some visible light in), put your camera on a tripod, and expect some long exposures. My earliest IR photos were done without a modified cam and the effect of windblown trees was actually kind of neat. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions.
