Description

Another 3D model. A saw an old one in the 60's in the french Alps, used by woodcutters. I felt in love with this ugly strange bulldog face. I never saw a so ugly truck with reverse windshields! It was not streamlined neither aerodynamic! By 1938 Canadian military authorities had shifted their interest to heavier 4x4 and 6x4 designs. By 1939, plans had been prepared for the mass production in Canada of a range of military vehicles based on fairly strict British specifications. This class of trucks was designated "Canadian Military Pattern (CMP)". Canadian military truck production included both modified civilian designs as well as purely military designs based on the CMP specification, in roughly equal numbers. Most CMP trucks were manufactured by the Chevrolet division of General Motors of Canada Ltd and by the Ford Motor Company of Canada. The CMP specification proved versatile, and it formed the basis of a wide variety of different truck types and military vehicles. Just over 400,000 CMP trucks were manufactured in Canada. CMP truck production in Canada exceeded the total military truck production of Nazi Germany.

Très bien réalisée, l'horreur sympathique. On n'a presque pas l'impression que ce soit militaire (j'ai une certaine allergie). Très bien intégré(e) dans le décor.

great work, and a face with character. it looks a bit like the Morris C8 Quad which was often used to tow the 25-pounder gun.

I don't think his face is so ugly. Nice historical recount of this beast. Awesome modeling and colors too.

Qualle fabuleuse modélisation! Certes, tu as fait d'autres véhicules nettement plus difficiles au plan des formes, mais quand même celui-là est franchement impressionnant!
