Description
The American heavy frigate Constitution, also known as "Old Ironsides".
19th August 1812, the Constitution, under the command of Captain Isaac Hull, chases down the far smaller and already damaged British frigate Guerriere under Captain Dacres. When battle was joined it could only have one outcome, and the British vessel was sunk with 78 casualities.
