Description

Always wanted to make an image where nature and magic is combined. I'm just not quite sure if it isn't overdone with the background and the desaturation effect... What do you think? Is it too much?

I think the tones and colours work really well with the lighting. The splash of red on the rose give it the lift it needs. I would have liked to have seen the light reach just a little further, to give at least a hint of the eyes, but that's a purely personal thing. Great picture.

Reminds me of Neil Gaiman's "Sandman" from Vertigo Comics. Really well done!

Thank you. Wasn't sure about this one, so i'm really glad you like it. @iambrose: Actually, the eyes were visible in the original render, but i decided to hide them in Photoshop to give it more of a mystical feeling, but thanks for your input. @Dreamingbee: Freut mich, dass dir meine Bilder gefallen ;-) Deine Sammlung ist aber auch sehr bemerkenswert, besonders die Werke mit Fraktalen sind echt umwerfend
