Description

This tree is behind my work place. The area is up for sale and the landowners crew came to make things better. No overhead lines, no threats to surroundings..one branch lost last year in a storm--so why this? Neglect for some time has allowed the "water sprouts" on the far branch to grow much too large yet those were left, crossing branches were not corrected. This was "hand me the chain saw, I can trim a tree" of the worst and most barbaric sort. A tree working company recognized for fine work has this sign on their trucks: "A topless tree is indecent" I agree and knowing this tree will never look in natural form again, I do hope in the spring it may be dressed in green. Snapshot Gallery is appropriate since this is not a great photo but simply a work in progress.

Hey Tom, we had some new neighbors move in across the street they moved here from Wisconsin, well they weren't here two weeks and they proceeded to trim? and removed almost all the pear trees in the yard, the older couple that have lived there previously, have both passed away since we moved in, and they took such pride and love in those trees, so I wanted to mind my own business it is their yard now but I had to have my say.. well they ended up leaving three of the trees ( I felt like I had saved them) and the ones they did trimmed back I thought would never recover but they did, and it actually makes it so can you see the house better, because the trees since they were so huge almost hid the house. But I am like you I always cringe when I see sights like this.. It sounds like you are going to show us its progress, I sure hope you do. and to think I got a site mail yesterday from a member saying the comments I leave are too short haha Not always.. Have a great weekend.

for some unclear reason trees are too often mistreated, cut unnecessary and most people forget we need them badly for lots of reasons. many people simply don't care they are important. 'gardening' with shovel and chainsaw is becoming more and more common. it breaks my heart.
