Description

Yesterday we got a visit from this fellow. He was very shy, so I didnt dare coming too close to the window. Therefore I had to take really many snapshots, before I got one decent capture. Stil I had to filter out grains. So this is all I got out of my efforts. He stood under the Hawthorn, as you can see on all the berries. Thank you very much for your kind comments to my previous post and special warm thanks to those, who added it as their favorites. :) Have a lovely saturday. Boring weather here. I will make comments later or maybe tomorrow, as I have a busy day ahead if me.

Beautiful. I love these birds. They are very shy, but also incredibly gorgeous. This is lovely work, and I particularly love the little red berries scattered around like surprising little kisses.

Oh he is absolutely beautiful Helle! I haven't seen a live one in a long time but they used to roam all over my grans property, as well as quail. We were taught to stop and remain quiet the minute we spotted them so all would have a chance to view them...well, thats what I thought then, seems they wound up on our plates like the others critters around did! Awesome capture Helle, I love those beautiful feathers!

Helle, you did wonderfully well with this capture! His feathers are luminous and I love his rather large looking feet! He looks like he's in heaven amongst all the berries. I like Chip's comment about them. Excellent image!
