Description
This is also a photo I have shot for some year ago with my EOS 100. I've scanned with my OpticFilm 7200. I came very close to the Capercaillie, he was thinking about to get some nice women and he was a little bit angry. I suppose I was a rival. It was a fantastic day.

this is a classic Capercaillie pose, and the pic has come through the scanning process very well. wonderful detail in the feathers on his throat.

I know Capercaillie as a Celtic band. I never knew it was also a woodland grouse! Excellent shot! I love the way his feathers are standing up. He does look a wee bit miffed and he surely has his eye on you! Terrific color and detail and beautiful blurred background!
