Description

this is actually my second render in Bryce, but the first was done in Bryce 5.5. I might post it tomorrow. As is, this was just a test to see what I could do by diving right in without bothering to read any instructions whatsoever. While not up to what I can normally do in DS, I feel that once I get the hang of it, I might be able to do dual creations, that is create the overall scene in Bryce and import a character from DAZ or vice versa. At least that is what is said can be done. we'll see, I guess thanks for all the wonderful comments and faves and have a great Sunday Mike

the same as me mike i just jumped in,havent read a tut yet hehehe. a little hint watch it when you use the bryce-daz bridge depends on the situation it will crasj big time. i do always like this: i work on the 2 programs independently-i dont like bridging shit-i hate therefore globalism-one thing should not affect the other at least not in a negative way- -i do part of the scene in bryce if necessary import a character (little tricky but once you know its easy). and the rest i can do in daz and do the final render-just my way of working.you will find your own way i am sure of this. give that boolean an agressive texture make the water voluminous and light like hell, and yes voluminous sky -to test your system it will take a huge amount of resources hehehe. always save in bryce because it likes to crash for strange reasons with the memory in all versions 5.5 and 6. especially when you double or triple an object and import another one.

I was going to ask you to call a lifeguard to save the donut from drowning but several others beat me to the reference. Nice water effects.

That was about all I used DS for what little I used Bryce. Its is farily easy to pose and set up your figure in DS than bring it into Bryce. Sometimes you can even go back into DS if you need to change the figure pose. Seems like, at least at the time I was doing it, shaders and textures did not always carry over quite the same so I had to tweak a bit. All in all though Bryce seems like a nice program. I just never took the time to really make use of it. Looking forward to seeing how you make out. Kjer99 has done some great Bryce renders. Bet if you get stumped he could help you out.
