Description
This is my eldest cat, Stanley, having a snooze.
Sadly, over the last few weeks, he seems to have lost his sight which would explain why he's been knocking things over recently. Still, he's nearly seventeen which is a good age for a cat.
He seems to be adapting to his condition now though he won't venture far from wherever he is at any given time.
I have to transport him from room to room and carry him to his litter tray when he wakes me during the night but, other than that, he is keeping himself clean, eats well, drinks his water and, when fussed, purrs in a most satisfying way.
I couldn't resist this shot of him sleeping a few hour ago. He was so well gone that the camera click and flash didn't stir him at all.

He looks very calm and relaxed. 17 years? Thats some age. Have a 16 year old cat, Egon, who is still very active. I am sure you provide for Stanly.

He seems so contented & his loss of eyesight doesn't seem to bother him & he is being well looked after by yourself!!!!!!
