Description

Bryce6.1/DazStudio/Photoshop I decided that I needed a new ship model for my Primevia images,so I spent the day building one in Bryce. The design was inspired by a suggestion from Retired a while back to create a ship based on the hammerhead shark...so this one's for him!The ship was modelled using basic boolean shapes, and three shapes from Spacebones(thank-you!).The main ship texture is a camo photo fromCGTextures combined with a Bryce procedural...all other textures are presets. This time around I challenged myself and made a poseable model. The guns on each side of the cockpit, the gun on top,the main thruster engines and the landing gear all move thanks to linking them to the model. This makes it relatively easy to change them when in the default position on the plane grid, and then move and rotate the ships into the desired poses. The figures are Predatron's lo-res male figures from Daz3d(posed in DazStudio). The outfit textures are the same camo photo used on the ship.Flying dust is a modified dust volumetric applied to four spheres...sky.light and atmo are all customs.Post in Photoshop involved a minor levels adjustment to each image, the background colour.title and signature. Thanks for viewing and any comments...and now back to Primevia!

Excellent modeling work! My only suggestion is on the texture - if it's camo, maybe it should be less reflective.
