You can render a million stills, but 1 scene like this in animation... The details are less fascinating than your every day god ray render in GR. But the camera moves! It moves! The cam looks down and pans over a forest with ground details like in the picture, then it tilts up to the view shown here and goes over to the island. The island has got the same ground population (very low poly for 8gig/64bit). Something like this. Fast and Flicker free. Stone cold. Just like that.
