Description

Hi there. This could be a bigger series - made about 150 shots on last Saturday as I took a stroll long a little river near my hometown. The water is called "Trieb" and feeds a big reservoir here called "Talsperre Poehl". I took advantage of the frosty temperatures and tried to took some ice-shots near this cascades. The Ice normally build coronas around the stone but it was a bit warmer than I preferred and expected and so there where ice-locks instead of coronas. Still a nice view and I used my free time and will show you some of the results. Before I took those shots I used the manual white balance of my cam (I read the manual a bit more *g*) and the results where better as the shots without that setting. Hope you enjoy - thanks for being here and take time to watch and comment.

Manual white balance is indeed your best bet- particularly when shooting snow. Are you using a 18% grey card?
