Description

Another shot from the same graveyard in New Brunswick, Canada. When I saw it I shouted 'Stop!!' and Flavia almost had an attack, but slammed on the brakes.I can't repeat her language here on Rendo, however... Between a rain bout and the next one, last summer Canada offered us glorious skies, edging on the unbelievably spectacular ones such as thesse clouds hovering on this small cemetery, and dwarfing poor human artefacts such as the naive concrete angels. A reminder that we are as transient as the clouds above. A thought about Haity and the fights for a photo op in front of the cameras for NGOs, charities, rescue squads from different nations... and the usual hoarding of money, hoping that at least a mere five percent will reach those in need. Not to speak of those con artists exploiting other people's misfortune. My only hope, but I'm not very optimistic about that, is that the international agencies learn at least to build anti-seismic buildings, in order not to be beheaded and lose the command chain just when their organizational abilities are needed most. Sorry for my ranting, and thanks for your kind comments.

Great one Sandra and I can see why you were so eager to have Flavia stop so you could capture this scene. This really is a lovely photo with such a dramatic look and feel to it.

I just hope you two are wearing seal belts!!! and I am glad she stopped wonderful scene. And my hopes are the same as yours , it is sad that others would try to profit on the misfortune of others. So don't apologize for ranting I am sure so many that would donate don't just because of that and that is so frustrating, and a loss for the ones that are hurting, hungry and in need.

Your text sounds very realistic with my soul ... Haiti before this natural drama, did not interest journalists in search of scoops! They look like Pirhana a wounded cow!

You can rant anytime you like Sandra! I am behind you all the way! I had a few emails and a couple phone calls regarding aid for Haiti..Sadly its usually the really elderly who get caught in those scams, so the thanks go to you for making a public statement about it! Beautiful image too, love the wonderful colors in the sky!

Lovely capture Sandra I agree with your rant I would give if I thought it would get to the needy, but feel that it wont get to the needy it will end up in some black marketers pocket..

Wonderful image and spectacular sky! The Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders are two very reliable organizations that you can give donations. Like renecyberdoc Igive money to individuals. It reminds me of the story of the boy and his father walking on the beach. The boy finds a starfish and throws it back into the ocean. The father says to his son that saving a single starfish doesn't make a lot of difference. The boy replies, "It does to the starfish."

Beautiful catch and You know there will be always people without scruples which will botch the goods perceived for more stripped people. Which sadnesses for all in the needs. Prayers are not enough and all goodwill too. The ground is destroying itself with all its people without scruples for the. The ere of ice made us disappear all traces from the prehistoric animals now the ere of heat will make disappear certain continents. Escuse me from my narration but It is my opinion on these facts.
