Description

Welcome to Cedar Creek. It is a small creek which flows into a sink hole with a couple of nice cascades, then drains into a good sized cave. I made three trips during the couple of weeks of hard freeze we had, watching the ice grow from a little bit to a lot. I am going to show you a few of these photos over the next day or two. I lightly applied a couple of effects just to the pebbles in the bowl to make them stand out a bit. I plan to return to Cedar Creek in the spring, when the spring greenery and much higher water flow should make some very nice pictures.

Nice colors on the stones! I have to say, I tend to have a VERY warped sense of humor, but that bit of ice hanging down, it made me think of looking into a mouth with the uvula (dangly bit in the back of the mouth in case someone doesn't know, LOL) in the center.

Actually, the same thought ran through my mind while I was working on this! The image of a mouth is appropriate, I think this creek has a lot to say!
