Description
I finally created the fur mesh, which is about 2 million triangles. Here are two simple renders done in Poser, with default FireFly settings, to compare the character with and without fur (open it full size to better appreciate the details).
In Poser Pro 2010, this model renders in less than 3 minutes, not bad considering the large amount of polygons there.
I'm now going to refine textures, especially for teeth and eyes, and later on I will rig the model, create the morphs and try to conform the fur geometry to the body mesh: this will be a very challenging task !
