I meant it am a dunnock. Probably is it however a young bird of ?
it could be also a young robin. Danny (danob) made me attentive. The photo I made in the middle of September and I think it is too late for a robin brood. But one does not know it exactly....
I had to lay in wait for some time. Literally. Luckily, no ant hill was beneath me ;-) The little bird is very shy, but my patience has been rewarded.

yes it is a wee tree or hedge sparrow, the dunnock has a brown under coat. but an excellent photo nun the less, did you do that in HDR?
