Description

The Bolte Bridge is a large twin Cantilever bridge in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It spans the Yarra River and Victoria Harbour in the Docklands precinct to the west of the Melbourne CBD. It was named after Victoria's longest serving Premier, Sir Henry Bolte. The pigeons that roosted in it each night were huge. This one nearly took my head off. ;) Zoom for heaps of detail.

Oh I love this! Hmmm...you Aussie types have some really weird pigeons! I don't even want to think of where they roost of what their droppings look like! That's just a bit scary. I love the facial expression on the largest one. For some reason, I want to call him "Fred."
