Direct yet subtle, with a nice interplay between the many layers. I particularly like the avoidance of symmetry in the green "layer" and its offshoots. There is a nice 3D effect.

I really like the whole thing. But it cries out for a zoom to show really show it off. The texturing of the background, the bit of depth, like bas relief the green area has, and those bits, like pieces of a puzzle that still need to be fitted in. And the sort of shadow the top spiral has below it. Very cool
