Description

MojoWorld3pro/PS7 for postwork on Color contrast and sharpening This was a pain in the arse to Render, 16.5hrs at 1700x776, AA4 and GD5. Base Planet was Dusted by Lewis Moorcroft available here in the Freebies, tweaks by me. The portal is the same Mesh I used in "Ozone Feeder" with a Circle Primitive/Glass mats inside, canted to catch the Moons reflections and distort the terrain. Gonna stop using Bubble mats, they render slower than Highly reflective Water. Thanks for the l@@k

Those pillars on "Dusted" can take a helluva long time to render....but it's such a cool planet that it's usually well worth the wait.....Superb image Len!!!....you picked the perfect place to drop those imports....Top notch work with the composition.....Excellent shot mate!!

IMHO the meshes are ugly in comparisn to the lovely work Lewis did on the planetscape Dusted. You have some nasty poly edges on both the sphere (not the ball) & the poser/figure. As for the rendertimes...a real crunch will come when..Transparency, Reflections & Refraction are involved ...it takes an age to compute them all together.

All aboard for the bubble express ! Neat concept and a funny thing, is that bubble material in Poser 6 takes forever to render as well...industrial espionage by a dumb programmer ? Kool stuff Len & ~Cheers~
