Jaeko ran into Sick bay with a frightened look on his face and skidded to a stop before Toxic. "I heard you got Hospitalized! Are you alright? You don't seem injured?" Rose said over her shoulder to him,"Her hyper-frame got damaged. That's causing her to over heat, so she's wearing a chill-suit to stay chilled. I'm working on my daughter's hyper-frame right now. I'll deal with Toxic's after I'm through here. Jaeko seemed shocked. "YOU can REPAIR these weird super high-tech artifact energy things?" Rose nodded. "My daughter, here...when she SUBSTANTIALLY upgraded me into this soft 'cyberorganic' form gave me the ability to repair them. I didn't realize it, until I perceived what was wrong with it. VERY useful! I need to get Snowflake in here to fix her's,too." Toxic asked with a sly look on her face,"What kind of get up are you wearing? It's awful fancy looking!" Jeako sneezed once and said, "Excuse me! It's tournament armor. I was competing in the planet-wide Kendo games. I'm gold-buckle ranked right now, and was going for platinum. I AM a kendo-master, after all. I taught YOU some moves. Did...you get to use any of them?" She sniffed and sneezed, too. She shook her head and said, "Huh! Dusty! Sure DID! I cut the big scary thing's hand off and rescued Hathor! She owes me a chicken dinner." Lime sneezed. She complained,"Why is so dusty in Sick bay? What's going on...? Mom? What are you doing?" Jaeko looked over as Thistledown came in and froze,stock still. Jaeko said, "WHAT IN HELL? Your clothes are disintegrating!" Rose stopped and watched her clothes start to turn to dust. A look of complete horror came over her. "No. NO! That thing used a SPOR-LINE FIELD on me!" Toxic had heard of how Golden-Golden had been destroyed by a Jongwe agent using one of those awful weapons of horror, and how her blood had been used to save Snowflake from melting away. It had been a pretty close run thing,too. Toxic screamed,"DOCTOR BLUE! STOP FOOLING WITH HATHOR! Set up a transfusion RIGHT AWAY! Rose is going to melt!" Lime hopped off the med-bed and looked at the dust pouring off the uniform and started crying and shaking her head. Rose snapped at Thistledown hoarsely,"Get my children out of here! I don't want them to see this!" Jaeko asked,"Why isn't her hair melting,too?" Rose snapped a look at him and at Doctor Blue who had rushed across the room. "Scan me. NOW!" She ordered with a desperate sound to her voice that no one had heard before. It was a cold, dreadful agony while Doctor Blue scanned her. Her clothes finally lost so much integrity,they simply fell off of her into a dusty pile on the deck. Finally Doctor Blue said,"I'm detecting NO signs that Rose is disintegrating. Snowflake developed skin lesions and capillary damage. Rose had NO such signs! The material of her clothes DEFINITELY were exposed to a Spor-line field. That is beyond question! Why Rose was not effected? I have no idea." He shrugged and Thistledown came over and hugged her. Lime and Toxic did too. Toxic murmured,"If anything happened to you, I'd have to deal with a pissed off Jin and crying Sunny! Don't do that again!" She laughed, "I didn't want to DO that to begin with! Let me bring out some other clothes!" She accessed her Hyper-Space-Storage device and brought out some poofs of duct. She looked shocked. "EVERYTHING in my HSD has been disintegrated into dust,BUT I'M NOT affected?" Thistledown speculated,"The same weapon that killed most of the previous generation's Four Sisters didn't affect you. They died. Their hyper-frames are two levels of hyperspace up, but Zero down into Sub-space. YOU are three up and THREE down. I hope that had something to do with it. Those Altha-Krommiums MUST have done some research into it." Rose took a robe from Doctor Blue and sighed sadly,"I'M immune to it, and everyone else will DIE if hit with it. Including my daughter.
