The closer we get, the more fascinating the patterns! Superb. We have a little weak sun but it is not freezing.

It's not until you get me up close like this that I remember how intricate and delicate leaves are. Well done.

Fantastic macro! It was raining here yesterday, so I was doing this too. Except, not this good!

Fascinating. The structure of the leaf makes me think of an aerial map of a lot of our suburban housing developments built since the end of World War II. You've really captured the full texture, tone of this rather complex leaf. Neat.

I cannot get over the complicated weave of the leaf's veins, and that it is a leaf and not some amazing artwork made of gold! hugs Jane xx

Finally I am here! I love the details and the lacy effect, also the color because its an earth color is very appealing. Great shot Helle, sorry I am so late...I am playing with the masks a little:-)

WOW! There is always so much to discover in images like this! At first I thought of a complex arrangement of roads and alleys. It has that look, but it also resembles fine but very delicate lace--probably antique lace, maybe even something Victorian. I love the color, it's like toast and gold with hints of other colors whispering to each other in secret. I love this!

Beautiful! Wonderful metallic shine to the larger veins! I love the patterns made by the smaller veins as they connect the larger ones. Excellent capture!
