Description
This new work of mine was inspired by the planned film production, “A Princess of Mars”, based on the series “John Carter of Mars” by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The film will have some scenes shot around Hanksville, UT, which is near where I live. During one of my many visits to this area I took these photographs when my wife and I were concerned by that menacing sky. The landscape with this kind of weather has a daunting effect on the psyche. Getting stranded is a great tribute to pay when the dirt road is washed out by violent storms. We finally got out in time but the main highway at Hanksville was destroyed a week after our visit there in the fall of 2006.

Bravo ! Bienvenue sur Rendo !
