Description
Here is the dorsal view schematic for the Excelsior Class starship. This is where all the problems basically started. I had to re-make the saucer section several times because of scaling issues. Sometimes it was too big or not big at all, with several of my source materials contradicting each other. Later on, when doing the ventral view, I had to come back to this one to once more correct the size. And of course with each new size, come new details.
I still think the end result looks a bit small, when compared with the rest of the ship, and with what it looked like on the screen.

Hmmmm I can see your point as far as the movie view points show the saucer is a bit larger than it appears here but fine job just the same!
