Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Fantastic capture! I love these bits and pieces of cars you've got.

Ah, yes...favorite old memories. I have some of those too. They're downright fun...don't you agree? Great pic of the business office of this classic Impala.

Oh no, what a trusting soul! He was grounded, never to be seen or heard from again. Bet you had a ball zigging and zagging down the residential streets in that bomb. Rev that engine and put the pedal to the metal!!! The steering wheels have sure gotten smaller since those halcyon days. And, please visit my "1957 Chevrolet convertible" that I posted today.

My very first car was an Impala '78.... great engine, roomy vehicle, I just loved it... the only think I didn't like was the gas consumption, it was that kinda car that requires to have a gas station hooked on your car... Great shot, good composition!

NICE! I can totally see you speeding. I can see myself in the passenger seat, looking like Richard Lynch next to Bill Hickman as he beat the crap out of a Pontiac Grand Ville in The Seven Ups although I'd actually feel safe with you. The '64 Impala was a beautiful car, and this looks like a similar vintage Chevelelle Malibu SS? Wonderful shot. Makes me feel like I can just get in and drive away...blasting the Beach Boys.
