Description
Argentinosaurus is a genus of sauropod dinosaur discovered in Argentina. The generic name means "silver lizard", in reference to the country in which it was discovered ("Argentina" is derived from the Latin argentum). The dinosaur lived on the continent of South America somewhere between 97 and 94 million years ago, during the mid Cretaceous Period.
Argentinosaurus was possibly the largest sauropod,up to 35 metres (110 ft) in length and with a weight of up to 80–100 tonnes.
Dinosaurs are modelled with Ligtwave3D.
