Description

I tried and tried to compose an image around this, but couldn't get past this simple cropping of an apophysis flame rendered as a bryce terrain. I really liked it's stormy sea appearance and had to post this one for you dear Red. You once challenged me to do a series, but nothing formed of it until now....do you see it? ...finally, another neo-Hiroshige...yes?

THANK YOU !! And yes, I do see the ukiyo-e in this. Those foamy waves crashing onto the rocks. If I allow my fevered imagination to run unchecked there are all kinds of other things tucked away in there -- some, as clbsmiley has seen, slightly creepy.

Ooooo .. but an ocean? I see a frozen ocean .. global warming has passed, the world is mostly water, great storms have brought a deep freeze. The waves froze as they were madly dancing to the tune of the insane winds. Mmmmm. Yup. That's what I see. Maybe it's sleep deprivation. Regardless, it's an awe inspiring scene. With frozen apparitions scattered here and there, if one cares to search them out (: My kind of art. Yup.
