Description

Title says it all. This is moments after the sun appeared on the horizon, and the low angle gives a nice reflection on the wet sand. While the surf is always fascinating to watch as the waves wash over the shore only to retreat once again to the sea, a still shots reveals the amazing formation of the moving water that is undetected in real time. marshall

Dig it. My home beach always brings me peace, even in a picture... but you do capture the beauty and spirit of home, as well. Speaking of... the contrasting colors of blues and oranges here are quite lovely. :-)

Beautiful picture! You're right...a photo captures the shape of the water that flows too quickly for us to really see it's shape. I love the contrast of the smooth sand with the roiling water.
