Description

I used Seth's 'Making of Wilderness' tutorial which is available for download as a PDF file at ( http://www.nwdanet.com/terragen-tutorials/11-wilderness.html ) for the creation of this image. Additionally, the following files were used: • For flattening low spots in a terrain, I used 'Hetzen's Blend Displacement at zero.tgd' file which is available at the Planetside Forum http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=8638.new;topicseen#new . Additionally, I made reference to Matt Fairclough's thread http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=7548.msg80786#msg80786 which deals with flattening of terrain areas. With this information, I created a clip file that I applied to the terrain you see. • The tall pines population was made using the model file called 'Big Pine' by jcinbama which is available for download at Ashundar. http://www.terragen.org/index.php?PHPSESSID=179bc8b8e4e3cef279a9fdb93d641764&action=tpmod;dl=cat385;tpstart=10 • The two smaller populations was made using the files called 'Dry Shrubs' by Walli and can be downloaded from NWDA. http://www.nwdanet.com/buy-packs/8-object-packs.html . • The 'One Cloud Atmosphere' is a clip file which you can download from the Planetside Forum and was created by littlecannon http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=3691.105 . In all, working with tutorials is a great way to learn techniques in Terragen 2 and open the way for one to improve upon his/hers' creative work. Bob

Dam. This is pretty killer, that cloud cover creeping in tops this off.

Man, I really like this one. I get the feeling I'm approaching the Northwest here, or maybe Norhern CA. A grand scene Bob!

The shoreline looks especially beautiful to me with the way you layed out the rocks and the trees. Superb job all the way around.
