Description

It more like a small pond than a lake but it fun to go there. I have not been there in a long time and my brother came in from out of town and he wish to see it again for hewent to this college in the late sixty's and early 70's. I should have came here more to take photos but you know how that goes at times. still getting the house in order and did go see the movie with the blue skin people. "Avatar" It was super but it have a lot of New Age Religious stuff in it.[I was into that stuff at one time but do not believe in it any more] I know I picky here but this is the first movie I saw in a movie place in years. oh the big tree in front is a live oak tree

Wonderful place and October is such a good time to be there. I love October in Louisiana. Your lighting is perfect! The distant trees are light enough to stand out from the ones in the forefront, but not too light as can so often happen in these kinds of shots. The foreground is beautifully shaded without being too dark. I love the shape of the branches, against the tall straight trunks further off. Beautiful capture!
