Bygone era. A day when machinists ruled:) Like the sharp contrast in this well done B&W. My father was a highly skilled machinist from the beginning of WWII into the beginning of the space age. He even got to fix a camera lens system he had built while it sat ready to launch into outer space on the top of an Air Force rocket. Today there isn't much left for a human machinist to do.
