Description
This image is a composite showing the actual Apophysis flames that I used as the basis for four of my recent images entitled
"dragon", "jaded gold", "ovarium #7", and "frogheart", all of which were created by rendering Apophysis flames as terrains in Bryce.
I thought that some of you might have some interest in seeing the raw Apophysis flames that were the basis for the "Bryce-ified" versions. In some of the images the effects of the Bryce-ification is more subtle than in others.
Definitely recommend viewing the composite in full-size when comparing with the Bryce versions.

Wow...that dragon one is still incomprehensible as a flame. I thought bryce must have changed that one considerably, but no, it's just an astounding flame.
