Hello, you all, i feel happy to be here. I am beeing a"bit" away....
Suzanne Burgos,*Artwithin*, that you well know and i, did this draw. I hope you like this:-)
This draw is special for me, in two ways: first, because is a colaboration with a great drawer, and also, because i am beeing a bit "slowly":-))
and she "pushed" me, with this wonderful challenging! Thank you, Suzanne:-)
Suzanne sent me her image (pencil on paper) by email and it *hit* me at first glance...

It make me think of a sculpture...and i zoomed on and on and i saw there so many details that atracted me a lot! Then, i did a print on a coloured paper with texture and begun drawing with coloured pencil, just following my "feelings"(LOL) and here is the resoult!
*Thank you so much Suzanne, for allow me to do this, also for the laughs always coming with, when we are simply sharing thoughts and ideas...that is something always so healthy and friendly!

This is a perfect collaboration! I love the "sculpted" feeling of this, like it's sculpted by hand, but not chisels and hammers...just by fingers, like with clay. It's very soft and sensual. I like it quite a lot and the colors, the subtle shadows and hints of light all dance together perfectly. This is brilliant.

I went to Suzanne's gallery, but she removed the image. I saw her image when she posted it though (I wasn't commenting then, but I did see it), and I thought it was another of suzanne's beautiful organic drawings, with egg-like shapes and blended hues. I would've had a hard time collaborating, because suzanne's piece felt "complete" to me. But you turned it into a soul holding a soul, you put it on wonderfully textured paper, you used your typically wonderful whites (your whites are masterful), you embraced the lower face in waves of flowing hair, and you made a portrait of love. Suzanne's piece had love & comfort inside it, and you gave it love & comfort in faces and embraces. A beautiful collaboration, and a fav for both of you. Bravo!
