Description

In questa foto vedete una garzetta che , infastidita dalla mia presenza si è lanciata in una serie di voli di cui ho approfittato per una serie di scatti . Questo è uno degli scatti. In this photo you see a little egret that bothered by my presence embarked on a series of flights that I took advantage of a series of shots. This is one of the shots. Common egret - Egretta garzetta Italian Atlas of Wildlife - Birds Systematic classification and distribution Class: Bird Order: Ciconiformi Family: Ardeidae Genus: Egretta Species: egret The common egret (Egretta garzetta) lives mainly in swampy areas, canals, ponds and rivers where it feeds on small fish, amphibians, reptiles, crustaceans, molluscs and insects that captures the beak emerged from a perch or pursuing her long stilts in shallow water. The populations in Italy are partially migratory and partly sedentary. In the past it was driven by the man to take over the long scapular feathers used for ornamental purposes. Distinctive Features Length: 50-60 cm Weight: 400-600 grams Wingspan: 100 cm The egret is a small white egret typical of wetlands. Very slim, thin beak and feet has blacks and yellow feet. The wedding dress is marked by a long crest of feathers on the neck and a wiry mop of ornamental feathers falling on his back. Sounds scratchy and repeated a verse. No obvious sexual dimorphism. Flying the egret has the shape typical of Herons retracted his head between his shoulders, his neck bent to Z and beat their wings slowly. Biology The egret eats small fish, larvae, amphibians, crustaceans and aquatic beetles found in shallow water and open. The courtship takes place from late March to late April. Eggs (greenish-blue, on average, 4) are incubated for about 20 days. It breeds in mixed colonies with other species, building large nests in the bushes most 'tall or between the branches of willows and poplars. The chicks remain in the nest for about 30 days. Good Sunday and good week new Thanks for the comments and the favourites of previous image!

It is wonderful that the egret rewarded you so well for disturbing him. You captured him beautifully! I love how their necks curl up tightly like this. I like the bright yellow eyes and long yellow feet. Beautiful light shining through his wing and on his head! This has great background. What at all the blurred lines? They add great interest to the image. This is an outstanding photo! Have a good Sunday and a good new week. Buona domenica e buona settimana nuova.
