Description

M2 LoRes man and free ActionFigure Hal *Copyright 10/10/2009 *By: bouncypig. Rendered in Bryce 6.3. Postwork in PS7. V-12 Aston Martin model from DAZ 3D. Don't recall where I got the airplane. The model says it is a Vega. I had an interesting (to me at least) problem while trying to use the V-12 model. I first tried bringing it into Bryce through DAZ Studio, but no matter which version of Bryce I used, only parts of the model came through. My solution was to export the model as an obj file from Poser. Then it worked as you see it in this render, with some minor tweaking in Bryce. Thank you for taking a peek! Your support is greatly appreciated!

Interesting work with the action figure and shadows. Would like to know how you did the background of that figure, must have taken a while.

The creation of this scene is rather simple easy to duplicate. I used a stock photo of the ocean and placed it on a 2d board in Bryce and sized accordingly. I rendered the HAL character in Poser on a gray background with no shadows and created a transparent background gif file from that in PS7. This type of file loads directly into Bryce and gives you a very quick loading character. As you can see, the character's shadow still shows up nicely in this Bryce render. The rest of the elements are as describes above. I just created a dune mound for the base, punched a hole in the 2d image and placed a door there for more impact. The blurr effect for the plane prop was created with circular motion blur in PS7. Thanks again for all your wonderful comments! I treasure them all!!!

Ha! I love this, it's surreal. The sand and beach are wonderful. I like that car (I wouldn't mind having a full sized one) please. Well done.
