Description
The Hooded Crow - Corvus cornix (sometimes called Hoodiecrow) is a Eurasian bird species in the crow genus. Except for the head, throat, wings, tail and thigh feathers, which are black and mostly glossy, the plumage is ash-grey, the dark shafts giving it a streaky appearance. The Hooded Crow breeds in northern and eastern Europe, and closely allied forms inhabit southern Europe and western Asia.
