Description

Hello everyone and thanks for looking... This is yet another of those pictures that took on a life of their own... I started out by playing with the MechaOctopus creature, and posed your standard 'Vicky in distress' type scene. But then I started playing around with Photoshop. I added stuff here, experimented with stuff there, until, after a couple hours geeking around, I finally noticed that a Football game was on (or at least the Pro Bowl) and decided to call it a day. I hope all the effects don't end up taking away from the picture, though. At the very least, it is brighter than yesterdays post (thanks for pointing that out 'Mikeerson'). But really, I'd like to hear what you think about it. Thanks for all your comments on my recent posts, too. They're very much appreciated. and where is her easy-to-use EMP button? She left it back on the ship, didn't she? It is brighter, but I saw nothing wrong with yesterdays post either as dark as it was... not all events are going to happen in the bright daylight....

I knew she should have brought a raygun! Great render. I think the lighting was fine on the last one, for the mood it needed. Lighting and effects are great on this one. Love her expression, but I have faith, its hard to keep a good girl down even for a dyno-charged octo-limbed whatumacallit! Soon to be Tin Man sushi!

This is so lively, and I love the colors! Yes, she needs a raygun for sure!

Great job Tom. Playing around with Photoshop like that is exactly how I figure out 90% of my stuff. This looks really, really good. The special effects running around her limbs looks great. Good scene setup and the arms on the metal octopus thing look very realistically posed. Next time you do this, try setting the main camera view to 35mm. Normally Poser sets it automatically to 55mm (or least with my Poser it does). 35mm will give you a little more of a wide aperture and create more depth of field. Not that this needs that, just thought you should play with it and see what happens.

This is beyond cool Tom and reminds me of cover art from years ago on a old Sci-fi graphic novel. By the way congrats on 250 images in the gallery. At the rate I post I estimate if I'm still here I'll hit 250 in about 2025. (no joke) lol
