How how charming. I wonder why the rocks on the roof, is there a reason for that? lovely place.

I was curious about the rocks too. The only time I've had rocks on my roof is when the neighbor's grand son came to visit and he tossed half of their driveway on my house! We had to climb up and remove them all - and then I insisted on sacking them up and carrying them back over to the head of their household...the grandmother. She made sure it never happened again. :-)

I used to see rocks on old corrugated tin roofs, to help hold them down in times of high wind. This is a great wee capture, Rita. It is very evocative, like a secret garden. I am sure that there is a story or two that its old stones could tell us, if only they could speak ... ;o) This image makes it to my desktop background, my friend.
