Description

I have spent a bit of time walking around this park, four trips here. And this is the only sign I'v seen of a gator. No glimpes, no tracks even! I've been here in Florida for nine months and the only gators I've seen is the Football team. LOL! So yesterday I went to the Zoo. Figure I get a shot of the ones there. Ha! Didn't see any! They don't have a pen for them, just a boardwalk though the swamp. So another words if one happen's to show up. I'm not giving up! Hope you enjoy! Thanks for the comments.

What part of Florida are you in? If you go down to the Johnson Space Center you will certainly see them, we saw them all along the drive down there, and there is a reserve down that way I wish I could remember the name, but you drive through, it is right on the coast, and my daughter who was 6 at the time, kept a list of all the different animals she saw I think she had around 34. Great place for photos, and a bit unnerving driving by some of them gators, they are BIG if I think of the name I will send it to you. Keep looking they are out there lol..

Oh this is such fun when I read the notice, but of course I would not frighten the gators or hurt them in any way, because I think I might just run in the opposite direction. Sorry there was not a real one for you to photograph but the photo of the sign is great!! hugs Jane xx

Perhaps they are all on holiday.... I don't think I'd have the courage to walk anywhere near here.

This is so surreal because I lived in Gator Territory for a while. I had ONE close encounter and that was enough. It wasn't that close, but still, the idea of a wild gator without a fence between him and me was enough to make me keep more than my distance. This is a great shot.

it wintin time and they be out in april for sure. keep looking and watch out. I was watching one from my truck and the gator went undewater and I saw the grass on top the water moved ver little. I too my camera and zoomed in and just saw a eye of the gator. that was all I saw too of him lol. they can hide good if they wish. Best get them sunning theyselfs but you have to get your eyes used to see what they see too or you miss them too.
