It was pure luck that this robin came in front of my lens that close. I was so excited.. I have never taken a picture of a robin this close..

WOW And you kept your head cold and got a great shot. Bravo!!! I have a distance lens, but I dont think it is of much help. I need a much stronger one for taking shots of birds. Some day I will buy one.
