Description
Somewhat of a WIP. I am experimenting with setting up a somewhat alien rain forest a la Avatar. I kind of liked this image and so I thought I'll post even though it is not a complete work.
I have edited some plant materials to add various patterns of luminosity to the leafs. Next on the list is to add some ecosystems to the root systems and to some modified corals for a more alien look. Any thoughts?

I think you have a very good start here. The extra vegetation you plan to add on the roots andsuch sound like a great idea. Apart from that I would think maybe some playign around with different lighting could help. Looking forward to seeing what else you got coming for this scene. :)

This is magnificent! I like the purple bioluminecent leaves - definitely looks like the foliage on Pandora. Love the Na'vi, too. Can't wait to see the finished piece.
