Description

While experimenting with auntietk's new camera and its' supermacro setting, I found this waterlogged, decaying log on the beach at Edmonds, Washington. It was just too good to pass up. I've put a #1 on this image...there are more supermacros from the beach to come. Bill:) "Raindrops on Moss"

Waltzing Matilda. Good but depressing movie starring Gregory Peck and Ava Gardner. Lots of texture in this pretty good macro shot of the decaying log, Bill. I didn't know Tara had a new camera. A Canon PowerShot?

This is amazing...textures within textures, but unfortunately, not a woodlouse in sight. Oh well...can't win 'em all. I love the details and the interesting shapes and layers (the non photoshop kind) and the colors. This is great. Of course decaying things will always be close to my heart. They're just so much fun to photograph. Oooh, and a new camera too? Even better. I like my workhorse but he needs a companion to lighten his load...this inspires me to go hunting for one in the future. Great work.
