Sunny looked around secretively and pulled Thena up the stairs to the roof. She said, "I have an imaginary friend!" Thena rolled her eyes. "Crying out loud! It's NOT the biggest secret in the whole world! OH! By the way...my brother gets out of the hospital TOMORROW! I am SO excited!" Thena walked over to the pergola and climbed up to a crossbar. "Why aren't you climbing up?" Sunny frowned. "I am SUPPOSED to stay out of trouble! So no floating around or climbing! By the way--Thena? Who is the statue?" Thena said while swinging, "Some holy guy?I think this building used to be a monastery or something." She laughed. "Maybe he's the saint over DOORKNOBS!" Sunny looked up and asked,"What's a doorknob?" Thena laughed,"Back before powered doors and stuff, doorknobs were these smooth handle things. I read about they had saints over EVERYTHING!" She giggled and then stopped. "Hey...what kind of bird is that in the bird bath?" Sunshine looked over and walked over towards the bird bath. Something fluttered and rolled around in the water. She stopped at the bottom of the stairs and made the tinkling bells noise at it. It turned and regarded her. She said over her shoulder,"It's some kind of a big fuzzy bug with... tentacles? Three feelers?" Thena dropped down and walked a bit closer. "It has skin like a cat and a wing case? It has two feelers and a long nose like one of those...Efalumps? Elboradoes? Extinct things with big ears!" Sunny said, while crouching down and moving closer,"I'm searching the web right now. ELEPHANTS! It has a trunk like an elephant! AND little wings. AND fur!" Thena asked, "Do you think it's dangerous? It's big enough to bite pretty bad if it is! Like a cat or something!" Sunny whispered,"You are a big chicken, Thena!" Sunny poked a finger towards it. it acted like it was smelling her and ran it's feelers over her hand like little cotton swabs. Sunny giggled because it tickled. It flickered it's wings and emitted a cooing purr at her. She scratched it between the eyes and it purred like a cat. Sunny moved to pick it up as Thena emitted a cry of shock. "WHAT'S THAT?" Starshine peeked around a potted plant at Sunshine. Sunny said tersely at Thena,"That is Starshine, my imaginary friend! Be quiet!" Sunny picked the strange creature up. It came readily into her arms. It was warm and fuzzy with rainbow colored fur and huge iridescent eyes. She stroked it and tinkled at it. It cooed back. The glowing ball of light tinkled like small bells, as well. Thena pointed at it,"Sunny! THAT is NOT imaginary!" Sunny looked over and said, "She won't bite you! She has no body, so she's imaginary! Go ahead, wave a hand through her. She doesn't mind." Thena went to poke the ball of light. Her hand went right through. Thena said,"Eep!" Starshine whizzed to Sunny's side and orbited her. Sunny laughed,"See! She's harmless. I have to imagine what's she saying and looks like, so she IS imaginary! Right ,Starshine?" Sunny made small bell-like noises at the ball of light and it responded in kind. Thena said, "That is just so...WEIRDLY FREAKY! How do you know she's a...SHE?" Sunny shrugged. "She just IS. She's lost. She followed Lime here because Lime got in trouble. She's afraid of my mommy because of something she did. I'm not sure what. It's like I can tell about this little guy. HE is a HE! I think he's lost,too. I need to name him something. He's all colored up like Toxic,though." He cooed loudly, hearing 'Toxic'. Sunny laughed. "THAT name is already taken!" She thought, and said,"How about 'Coodle'?" He butted his head against her hand. She smiled. "Coodle it is! Toxic's pet was named 'Coodle'. It cooed,too." Thena looked at her friend as if seeing her for the first time. "What is this power you have to draw people to you like this?" Sunny laughed and shrugged."It's not magnetic-ism!
