Description

I spotted this very appropriate sign at the intersection of trail 510, shown in this series, and trail 508, where I plan to hike on my next trip to the area. If you look at trail 508 on the map in “Trail 1 - Map”, you will see that it is a five mile loop that travels through Buffalo Canyon, following three rushing streams. There are huge cliffs all along the trail, and I know of two smaller arches in Buffalo Canyon. I know there will be many wonderful sights along the way, and I will bring some back for you. I don’t know when I will go, but it will be the first days we have some nice sunny weather. So the Fermata is just right; not an end, but an indefinite pause before the next chapter.
