Seas of pain had engulfed her, years of tears had collected to form an ocean of salt. The wounds deep, cut through the heart, the very soul, Salty tears, stinging wounds, Burning deeply. She sat there as the ocean of tears rose, higher and higher, until at last it reached her chin. Searching the vast horizon for a vessel to rescue her, a light from a distant shore, yet nothing came. No one would rescue her. She couldnt swim, and she had gotten stranded out upon the rocks. The tide of life came in faster than she had expected, bringing with it, raging riptides of pain frustration, and anguish. Realizing she had no choice but to take one last breath and slip under, She lost the urge to fight death any longer. And relaxed, letting the water flow over her face, keeping her eyes open so she could watch the bubbles of her last breath of life escape her. Soon, her lungs empty, crushing pain upon her chest, as her body ached for life, she had no choice, but to open her mouth in one last scream and let all the tears she had shed, come rushing back inside her now drowning soul. Her eyes still open, looking up toward the surface, as her vision begins to tunnel, she sees a light above the water.... Knowing this is the end, and she would be free from pain for all eternity, she closes her eyes to the light, and succumbs to death. He reaches below the surface, the ocean of tears she has shed, and pulls her out. Taking her limp, lifeless body into his arms, he carries her to shore, and begins to breathe life back into her. Gentle lips upon cold blue loving hands upon lifeless breast, His tears fall upon closed eyes, as he cries out for her to hear him. " I love you" "Dont give in." "You are safe upon the shore." " I wont let you drown in your tears ever again" "Just let me love you once more." One last breath from his trembling lips, her eyes begin to flutter, she focuses on his, and realizes..... she has been rescued. A new tear falls from her cheek, this time its full of happiness, and she knows now, that when she cries, it doesnt matter how deep the ocean rises, he has a boat, and he wont let her drown.
